Factors of profitability of production in the conditions of agricultural holding in the Altai Territory | Факторы рентабельности производства в условиях холдингизации сельского хозяйства Алтайского края

The research was aimed to determine the significance and the influence of prices for the main types of agricultural products on the production profitability in agricultural organizations (AO) of the Altai Territory, one of the developed agricultural regions of Russia. Milk production in 2016-2023 formed 11.77-19.03% of the income AOs in the Altai Territory. Using this example, the hypothesis was tested and refuted (in the conditions of the analyzed period, region, and products) that in legally independent AOs and business entities under the control of holding companies, the price mechanism forms significant differences in financial results. The main trends in the profitability of agricultural production in the Altai Territory are identified. The low influence of structural factors and the high influence of price factors are revealed: in the period 2018-2021, the price environment in agricultural markets was favorable and the level of profitability increased; in 2022-2023, the price environment in agricultural markets was unfavorable and the level of profitability decreased, a long-term price disparity has been established. Using the example of milk production, the profitability of production in holding companies and legally independent organizations was compared. It is proved that holding companies operating in the Altai Territory, within the framework of transfer pricing, have not raised prices for controlled transactions, using other financial management tools to maintain the financial condition of AOs including intra-holding lending. Higher profitability of milk production in holdings with low performance of cows and low remuneration of employees is associated with insufficient prevalence of vertical integration in dairy cattle breeding. Prospects for improving the efficiency of dairy cattle breeding in the region are associated with the implementation of large investment projects by federal and regional holdings.

Цель исследования - определение значимости и влияния цен по основным видам с.-х. продукции на рентабельность производства в сельскохозяйственных организациях (СХО) Алтайского края - одного из развитых аграрных регионов России. Производство молока в 2016-2023 гг. формировало 11,77-19,03% доходов СХО Алтайского края На этом примере была проверена и опровергнута (в условиях анализируемого периода, региона, продукции) гипотеза о том, что в юридически самостоятельных СХО и хозяйствующих субъектах под управлением холдинговых формирований ценовой механизм формирует существенные различия в финансовых результатах. Определены основные тенденции изменения рентабельности с.-х. производства в Алтайском крае. Выявлено низкое влияние структурных факторов и высокое влияние ценовых факторов: в период 2018-2021 гг. ценовая конъюнктура на аграрных рынках была благоприятной и уровень рентабельности повышался; в 2022-2023 гг. ценовая конъюнктура на аграрных рынках была неблагоприятной, и уровень рентабельности снижался, установился длительный диспаритет цен. На примере производства молока была сопоставлена рентабельность производства в холдингах и юридически самостоятельных организациях. Обосновано, что холдинговые формирования, осуществляющие деятельность в Алтайском крае, в рамках трансфертного ценообразования не повышали цены по контролируемым сделкам, используя другие инструменты финансового управления для поддержания финансового состояния СХО, в том числе внутрихолдинговое кредитование. Более высокая рентабельность производства молока в холдингах при низких продуктивности коров и оплате труда работников связана с недостаточной распространенностью вертикальной интеграции в молочном скотоводстве. Перспективы повышения эффективности молочного скотоводства региона связаны с реализацией крупных инвестиционных проектов холдингами федерального и регионального масштаба.
