Análisis de la agenda pública y privada de la Bioeconomía en Centroamérica y el Caribe: Estudios de Caso de El Salvador, Honduras, Cuba y Nicaragua

This work focused on investigating the policies governments are implementing to develop the bio-economy in the countries of El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Cuba. We used the case study methodology, where specialists Bioeconomy Network and Change Climate where the situation of political and policy addresses that governments have been implemented. The research provides results in the need to gradually introduce the topic of the Bioeconomy in public and private agenda of the paths of the bio-economy as an alternative to the rural communities to respond to variations of climate change and increasing demand for food and fiber that assumes exponential population growth. The research work was organized as follows: Sectoral policies and standards regulatory of the Bioeconomy: Case El Salvador that address the country's specialist group El Salvador is the second case Agenda of public and private policy for the bio-economy: case Honduras made by the specialist group of Honduras country, the third case Policies Public for the Bioeconomy in Cuba by specialists from Cuba and country group Nicaragua finally referring policy on the subject is being promoted.
