Agriculture is one of the most vulnerable sectors. Agricultural production largely depends on weather and climate conditions. Changes in temperature and precipitation in recent years have a visible impact on crop yields, which in turn affect agricultural income and cause significant economic losses. Corn is one of the most popular cereals in the world. For higher yields, corn needs a large amount of water. The impact of water deficit on grain production depends on the stage of corn growth. This paper refers to the particularities of corn hybrids from 6 precocity groups, making an attempt to generalize the results obtained over a period of five years. This interval was characterized by high thermal regime and extreme heat conditions. The amount of precipitation varied from year to year, with excesses and pluviometric difficulties being recorded.
