Karpinski, Isabella | Nordheim, Stephan | Golla, Burkhard
The study introduces optimised web services within an automatic assistance system for precision pesticide application. By automating planning, applying, documenting, and evaluating stages of the pesticide application process, the study seeks to ease the workload on farmers, making precision spraying a practical reality. Specifically, it focuses on the environmental optimization (1) of the assistance system by enhancing an existing geodata-based web service to improve the identification and protection of non-target areas. Another focus of the study is to create an automated economic benchmarking (2) by designing a benchmark web service that allows farmers to assess the economic performance of pesticide application strategies. These advancements aim to promote sustainability and efficiency in precision agriculture through technological integration.
