Evaluación de la biodisponibilidad del nitrógeno en cultivo de fréjol arbustivo (phaseolus vulgaris l.) con cobertura y bajo sistemas de labranza de conservación, en la microcuenca del río Alumbre - Bolívar

El propósito de esta investigación fue evaluar el efecto de la cobertura vegetal y la labranza sobre la biodisponibilidad de nitrógeno (N) en el cultivo de fréjol arbustivo (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) en la microcuenca del río Alumbre-Bolívar, en dos ensayos de campo. El primero (EN) evaluó cobertura de pasto natural (Pn) y mezcla forrajera de avena-vicia (Av) bajo labranza cero (Lo) y labranza mínima (Lm), con fertilización nitrogenada para tratamientos con Pn y el segundo ensayo (EA) evaluó Lo y Lm con y sin remoción de Av. Las variables evaluadas incluyeron N total (NT), carbono orgánico total (COT), en residuos de la cobertura; contenido de humedad, NT, COT, N nítrico (N-N03 ), N amoniacal (N-NH/), N potencialmente mineralizable (por incubación aeróbica (NPM) y por el Illinois Soil Nitrogen Test (NPMisnt)), y materia orgánica particulada (MOP) en suelos muestreados a los 30, 60 y 90 días después de la siembra (dds) a profundidades de 0 a 5-, 5 a 10- y 10 a 20-cm. Además, se evaluó la extracción de N en grano y residuos de planta, y el rendimiento del cultivo.

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the effect of plant cover and tillage on the bioavailability of nitrogen (N) in the culture of bush bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). The study was conducted in the micro-watershed of the river Alumbre in the Province of Bolivar, in two field trials. The First Trial evaluated natural pasture cover and mixed oats-vetch forage under no-till, minimum tillage practices and nitrogenous fertilization for trial with natural pasture, and the Second Trial evaluated no-till and minimum tillage with removal or with incorporation of Av. Variables assessed included total N (TN) and total organic carbon (TOC) in mulched forage cover; moisture content, NT, COT, nitrates (N-NO3"), ammonium (N-NH4+), potentially mineralizable N (by aerobic incubation (PMN) and the Illinois Soil Nitrogen Test (PMNlSNT)), and particulate organic matter (POM) were assessed in soils sampled at 30, 60 and 90 days after sowing (das) at depths from 0 to 5-, 5 to 10- and 10 to 20-cm. N was assessed in extraction of grain and plant residues, as well as evaluating the significance of crop yield.
