abstractPL: Cel pracy: Ocena stopnia zadowolenia młodych kobiet z sylwetki i porównanie stopnia zadowolenia z budową ciała oraz ocena zmian jakich kobiety chciałyby dokonać w wyglądzie i ukształtowaniu sylwetki. Materiał: Przeprowadzono ankietę ogólnopolską. W ankiecie udział wzięły 123 kobiety w wieku od 18 do 26 lat. Do badań uzyskano: masę ciała, wysokość ciała, obwód talii i bioder oraz obwód przez i pod biustem. Zebrano również informacje dotyczące zadowolenia z ukształtowania i budowy sylwetki, aktywności fizycznej i sposobu odżywiania. Wyniki i wnioski: Tylko 52% kobiet było zadowolonych z budowy swojego ciała. Aż 89% chciałoby dokonać zmiany w ukształtowaniu swojej sylwetki. Większość chciałaby schudnąć, mieć mniejszy brzuch, szczuplejsze uda i smuklejsze ramiona. Kobiety z wyższą masą ciała i wyższym BMI cechowała niższa samoocena. Ankietowane widziały związek między zadowoleniem z sylwetki a właściwym odżywianiem i aktywnością fizyczną. Na samoocenę młodych kobiet miały wpływ media oraz oceny innych ludzi.

abstractEN: Objective: Assessment of the level of satisfaction of young women with the figure and comparison of the degree of satisfaction with the body structure and assessment of changes that women would like to make in the appearance and shaping of the figure. Methods: Survey was conducted nationwide. The survey was attended by 123 women aged 18 to 26 years. The following results were obtained for the research: body weight, body height, waist and hips circumference as well as circumference through and under the breasts. Information on satisfaction with the shape and structure of the figure, physical activity and diet was also collected. Results and conclusion: Only 52% of women were satisfied with their body shape. As many as 89% of women would like to make a change in shaping their figure. Most would like to lose weight, have a smaller stomach, slimmer thighs, and slimmer shoulders. Women with a higher body weight and a higher BMI had lower self-esteem. The respondents saw a relationship between being satisfied with their figure and proper nutrition and physical activity. The self-esteem of young women was influenced by the media and other people's judgments.
