: Imigrante is the first ginger cultivar registered in Brazil. It s suitable for cultivation in the central mountainous region of Espírito Santo state, the country s largest producing region of origin. In three regional evaluation trials, it showed a fast and early growth cycle, reaching an average productivity of 145 t ha.
