A Flora arbórea da região do semiárido piauiense: um estudo bibliográfico

The study aims to survey works with floristic/phytosociological surveys, in order to better understand the arboreal flora of the semi-arid region of Piauí, list the arboreal flora, pointing out the importance of some species and analyze the origin of the species. The survey focused on works that were carried out in the semi-arid region of Piauí and presented tree species. The surveyed species were organized in tables, and classified according to their origin. A total of 18 articles were found that met the selection criteria, being distributed in 15 cities in Piauí. 297 tree species, 51 families, were listed. As for their origin, the Brazilian natives were the most representative. After the survey, it was possible to observe a richness of species in the semi-arid region of Piauí, but the flora of the region needs to be further studied or even publish the works already carried out on the region.

O estudo tem como objetivo fazer um levantamento de trabalhos com levantamentos florísticos/fitossociológicos, afim de conhecer melhor a flora arbórea da região semiárida piauiense, listar a flora arbórea apontando a importância de algumas espécies e analisar a origem das espécies. O levantamento focou em trabalhos que foram realizados no semiárido piauiense e apresentaram espécies arbóreas. As espécies levantadas foram organizadas em tabelas, e classificadas quanto a sua origem. Foram encontrados um total de 18 artigos que atendiam aos critérios de seleção, estando distribuídos em 15 cidades do Piauí. Foram listadas 297 espécies arbóreas, 51 famílias. Quanto a sua origem, as nativas brasileiras foram as mais representativas. Após o levantamento foi possível observar uma riqueza de espécies na região semiárido piauiense, porém a flora da região precisa ser mais estudada ou até mesmo publicar os trabalhos já realizados sobre a região.
