Búlgaro. The present paper deals with the classification of Technosols located in the closest vicinity of "Maritsa-Iztok" coal mine basin according to the World Reference Base for Soil Resources (WRBSR, 2007).The studied soils were built 40 years ago by the specially developed technology meant for reclamation of lands with agricultural intention (Garbuchev et al., 1975). In ordert to ensure optimal conditions for crops' growth the following soil profile was formed: оn the spoil's bottom were stored materials having adverse agronomic properties, then a layer of 2 m width from yellow-green Pliocene clays (suitable for reclamation) was form on them, and it was overlaped with 40 cm layer of deposited humus horizon of thе leached smolnitsa (Haplic Vertisols, WRBSR, 2007). Due to lack of humus material by this method were reclaimed approximately 90 ha. The remaining 70 hectares have been diverted to forestry reclamation and were afforested directly on the layers of yellow-green clays.Based on the study hold we consider that following classification reflects the morphologic-genetic nature of the soils in hand:Technosols reclaimed with yellow-green Pliocene clays and Molic horizon of Haplic Vertisols are classified as Molic Spolic Technosols (Calcaric).Reclaimed without humus Technosols formed by medley of yellow-green аnd black Pliocene clays are diagnosticated as Stagnic Spolic Technosols (Humic).Eutric classifiewras not included in the list of Technosols, but would bе very suitable for diagnosis of investigated technogenic soils which are distinguished for high degree of bases saturation.
