Crescimento, produção e análise econômica de povoamentos clonais de Eucalyptus sp em sistemas agroflorestais | Growth, production and economic analysis of clonal stands of Eucalyptus sp. in agroforest systems

The aims of the present study were to adjust models of productivity for a sawmill to test taper functions using segmented and non segmented polynomial models to estimate the profile of the trees´ trunk to prognosticate the present and future production of stands of eucalypt and to analyse the economic viability of a "agrossilvopastoril" system with eucalypt The units of study were composed by stands of a clone of natural hybrids of Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus camaldulensis planting in consortium with rice soybean and pasture at the spacing 4 x 10 meters aiming to produce wood for sawmill and energy The study of the productivity of the sawmill was composed by tests of models using the ordinary least squares method For the adjustment of the taper functions 40 trees were scaled rigorously by the Smalian method The segmented models tested were those of Clark et al (1991) Max & Burkhart (1976)and Parresol, Hotvedt & Cao (1987) The non-segmented models were those of Schöepfer (1966) Hradetzky (1976)and Goulding & Murray (1976) To estimate the diametric classes of the stand the density function of probability Sb was tested All attributes were modeled and the parameters of location (e) scale (l) asymmetry (g) and kurtosis (d) were recovered The economic analysis tested the profitableness of the future sale of the wood goods and of the whole system The productivity of the wood processing could be estimated in function of dendrometric parameters The model of Hradetzky (1976) better estimated the diameters and was used in the prognosis also to estimate the volume The prognosis of the production for clones of eucalypt subjected to the agroforest systems underestimated the future volumes The economic analysis showed that the viability of the agroforest system depends more on the wood than the other components such as the soybean the rice and the "arroba" (15 Kg) of the cattle.

O presente estudo teve como objetivos ajustar modelos de rendimento para uma serraria testar funções de afilamento utilizando modelos polinomiais segmentados e não-segmentados para estimar o perfil do fuste das árvores prognosticar a produção presente e futura de povoamentos de eucalipto e analisar a viabilidade econômica de um sistema agrossilvopastoril com eucalipto As unidades de estudo foram compostas por talhões de um clone de híbridos naturais de Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus camaldulensis plantados em consórcio com arroz soja e pastagem no espaçamento 4 x 10 metros objetivando produzir madeira para serraria e para energia O estudo de rendimento da serraria constou de testes de modelos utilizando o Método dos Mínimos Quadrados Ordinários Para o ajuste das funções de afilamento foram cubadas 40 árvores rigorosamente pelo método de Smalian Os modelos segmentados testados foram o de Clark et al (1991) de Max & Burkhart (1976) de Parresol et al. (1987) Os modelos não-segmentados foram os de Schöepfer (1966) de Hradetzky (1976) e de Goulding & Murray (1976) Para estimar as classes diamétricas do povoamento foi testada a função de densidade de probabilidade Sb Todos os atributos foram modelados e os parâmetros de locação (e) escala (l) assimetria (g) e curtose (d) foram recuperados A análise econômica testou a lucratividade da venda futura dos produtos de madeira e do sistema como um todo O rendimento do desdobro de toras pode ser estimado em função de variáveis dendrométricas O modelo Hradetzky (1976) estimou melhor os diâmetros e foi usado na prognose também para estimar o volume A prognose da produção para clones de eucalipto submetidos aos sistemas agroflorestais apresentou subestimativa dos volumes futuros A análise econômica mostrou que a viabilidade do sistema agroflorestal depende mais da madeira do que dos outros componentes como a soja o arroz e a arroba do boi.
