Dynamics of taxation indicators of tree plantations with the participation of northern red oak in the right-bank of the Central Forest-Steppe | Динаміка таксаційних показників деревних насаджень з участю дуба червоного правобережжя Центрального Лісостепу

Some areas where stands with the participation of red oak (Quercus rubra L.) grow were identified based on the analysis of the individual tree taxation data of forest stands in the right-bank part of the Central Forest-Steppe, encompassing Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, and Kyiv administrative regions, as of January 1, 2024. The dynamics of their forestry-taxation indicators were analyzed. The areas of stands with red oak participation within the specified administrative regions were determined as follows: Vinnytsia – 18.6 thousand ha (of which pure stands – 809.4 ha); Kyiv – 13.9 thousand ha (pure stands – 404,0 ha); Cherkasy – 6.8 thousand ha (pure stands – 179.9 ha); Zhytomyr – 5.8 thousand ha (pure stands – 485.9 ha). It was determined that the proportion of pure red oak stands is 4.2 % of the total area of stands with its participation in the study region. The distribution of the total area of these stands by age classes, administrative regions, and coefficients of red oak participation in the composition was carried out. The average age of stands with red oak participation and the average coefficient of its participation in the composition of stands were determined. The location of the oldest stands with the participation of this species in the study region was established. The distribution of the total area of stands with red oak participation by dominant species and administrative regions was carried out. It was found that red oak grows in stands where thirty-nine tree species are dominant, with the largest areas occupied by stands dominated by common oak (Quercus robur L.) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), while the smallest areas are dominated by Manchurian walnut (Juglans mandshurica) and smooth elm (Ulmus laevis). It was established that the total wood stock in stands with the participation of red oak in the right-bank part of the Central Forest-Steppe is 7140.9 thousand m³, of which 60 % accounts for the stock of pure red oak stands. The distribution of the area and total stock of pure red oak stands by age groups and administrative regions was carried out. The average stock of red oak monocultures in the study region and within administrative regions was determined as well, which indicates their high productivity. It was found that the stands with red oak participation in Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia Regions have the highest productivity in the area, and those in Cherkasy Region have the lowest productivity.

На підставі аналізу повидільної таксаційної бази даних лісових насаджень правобережної частини Центрального Лісостепу, що охоплює Вінницьку, Черкаську, Житомирську та Київську адміністративні області, станом на 01.01.2024 р., ідентифіковано ділянки, де зростають насадження з участю дуба червоного (Quercus rubra L.). Проаналізовано динаміку їх лісівничо-таксаційних показників. Встановлено площі насаджень з дубом червоним у межах зазначених адміністративних областей: Вінницька – 18,6 тис. га (з них чисті деревостани – 809,4 га); Київська – 13,9 тис. га (чисті деревостани – 404,0 га); Черкаська – 6,8 тис. га (чисті деревостани – 179,9 га); Житомирська – 5,8 тис. га (чисті деревостани – 485,9 га). Визначено, що частка чистих насаджень дуба червоного становить 4,2 % від загальної площі насаджень з його участю в регіоні дослідження. Проведено розподіл загальної площі цих насаджень за класами віку, адміністративними областями та коефіцієнтами участі дуба червоного у складі. Визначено середній вік деревостанів з дубом червоним та середній коефіцієнт його участі у складі насаджень. Встановлено місце розташування найстаріших насаджень з участю цього виду в регіоні дослідження. Проведено розподіл загальної площі насаджень з дубом червоним за домінантними видами та адміністративними областями. Встановлено, що дуб червоний зростає в насадженнях, де домінують тридцять дев'ять деревних видів, при цьому найбільші площі займають насадження з домінуванням дуба звичайного (Quercus robur L.) та сосни звичайної (Pinus sylvestris L.), найменші площі – з домінуванням горіха манжурського (Juglans mandshurica) та в'яза гладкого (Ulmus laevis). Встановлено, що загальний запас деревини в насадженнях з участю дуба червоного у правобережній частині Центрального Лісостепу становить 7140,9 тис. м³, з яких 60 % припадає на запас чистих деревостанів дуба червоного. Проведено розподіл площі та запасу чистих деревостанів дуба червоного за віковими групами та адміністративними областями. Визначено середній запас монокультур дуба червоного у регіоні дослідження та в межах адміністративних областей, який засвідчує про їх високу продуктивність. Встановлено, що найбільшою продуктивністю у регіоні відзначаються деревостани з рослинами дуба червоного, що зростають у Житомирській та Вінницькій областях, найнижчою – у Черкаській області.
