The efficacy of the drug estimated in carps in laboratory and pond conditions. The drug was applied in fodder. From the doses used in aquarium: 0.75, 1.0, 1.5, 1.75 and 2.0 mg/kg of body weight, only the last dose appeared to be effective and caused death of tapeworms. After applying Systamex in fodder in ponds, even at dose of 8.0 mg/kg of body weight e. g. at a dose four times higher than that effective in laboratory conditions, therapeutical effect was not observed.(Zelazny, J.; Prost, M.)
