Microbial contribution in the synthesis of N-nitrosoamines in the soil treated with a liquid manure is indirect and consists in the transformation of nitrogenous compounds into amines and nitrites. N-nitrosodimethylamine introduced into the soil was relatively resistant to the microbiological degradation
