The improvement of Capsicum spp. (yield trial of selected chilli varieties) [in Thailand]

The comparison of the yield trial of 5 improved inbred lines with the original native chilli (Capsicum annuum L.) collected from Prachaub Kirikhun was done at Pakchong Student Training Farm. The result showed that 3 inbred lines (C 1.2-6-3, C 1.2-5-3) gave a highly significant yield from the original (C 0.1.2). Inbred line C 1.2-6-3 gave the highest yield 3,439.2 gram/10 plants/7.5 sq.m.
