First lactation equivalent age adjustment factors for milk yield in Indian buffaloes

Age adjustment factors for lactation milk yield were derived for Indian buffaloes by using the records on 733 buffaloes. Adjustment factors on first lactation basis were calculated after taking into account the correction for the significant effect of lactation length, body weight at calving along with the farm, period and season effects
