This study was carried out to compare the soil profile development indices of Sinjeong series according to the distribution areas in Yeongnam district. The soils studied were belonging to the fine loamy family of hilly residual soils derived from conglomerate. These were well drained and dominantly had 30-60% slopes, and were used for forest
