The relationship between the chemical composition of the sediments and the specific composition and percentage content of the systematic groups in the total numbers of phytoplankton was studied at selected sites. The content of carbon, nitrogen, and calcium in the reservoir bottom is shown on the maps presented. No relationship appeared between the composition of phytoplankton and the content of the basic available biogens in the sediments
