Greenhouse cucumber topdressing with liquid and dry fertilizers

Novocont, new liquid fertilizer - 1.5 N: 0.5 P2O5: 2.5 K2O: 1.8 CaO: 0.4 MgO plus trace elements in citrate and EDTA chelated form was compared with dry fertilizers mixture - 15: 7: 21: 5+ microfertilizers. Experiments were carried out with 3 cucumber long and short-fruit cultivars grown on straw covered with a peat-bark substrate layer. Three weeks after planting the control plants were topdressed with dry fertilizers meanwhile in rest objects Novocont in concentrations of 4, 6, 8 and 10% was applied twice a week before watering. The total fruit yield of all cultivars was higher due to liquid fertilizer combinations
