The purpose of the experiment was to evaluate the nutrtitive value of steamed potatoes, silages, potato flakes and dried potatoes from various regions of Poland. It was considered that fluctuations in the content of particular nutrients were very high. The lowest fluctuations were found in potato flakes and dried potatoes. Variable content of dry matter in raw potatoes, steamed potatoes and silages had decisive influence on differentiation of their energetic value for fattening pigs
