The different ways of preservation and preparation of maize grain from the same hybrid can significantly effect the productive results of hog fattening. Micronized, nonextracted soybean grain can be successfully used as the only protein addition in feeding ratio with maize pearl barley with some slower yield in relation to ratio which consists of complete mixture of soybean and fish meal. Feeding hogs with 5 new hybrids with specific characteristics give faster weight gain along with less feed consumption in relation to ratio with standard hybrid; but these differences with complete balancing are not significant.
