Investigation of cows calving season's influence on manifestation of milk yield characteristics

For the period of 3 years, in 5 localities and during 4 seasons, investigation on the season of calving influence on milk characteristics of Black and White breed of cows was experimented using 975 cows. During the period of 305 days of lactation the cows which were calving in the winter period were producing 5386 kg of milk, 210,6 kg of milk fat and 4.02 % of milk fat, and in autumn season 5082kg of milk, 200,8 kg of milk fat and 3.95 % of milk fat. The average production of 4 % milk during 305 days, in all seasons, was 5154 kg. In relation to average value, in lactations which started in the winter season were produced 3.08 % more milk, and in spring, summer and autumn season 0.80 %, 1.07 % and 2.11 % less milk. The greatest amount of milk and milk fat was produced in lactations that were starting in winter season, and the smallest amount in autumn season, that in practice could be of use
