[Modification of the predisposition to the scab in fruits of nectarine by means of fertilizer substances applied to the foliage. Influence of the dotation of sugar in plants]

In Mercedes, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, essays were made to evaluate the behaviour of fertilizer substances put on nectarines (Prunus persica var. nectarina, cv. Stark Delicious), as modifiers to the predisposition to the scab caused by Fusicladium carpophilum, at the same time possible differences in the seriousness of the attacks in function of different concentrations of sugar. By means of foliar pulverizations potassium chloride at 1%, monosodium phosphate at 5%, urea at 1% and a combination of these two latest were proved. The funguicides benomyl (50%) to 0,06% and thiophanate methyl (70%) to 0,1% were used at referents. In every case adherent substance was added.
