The development of Heliothis armigera was determined at different temperatures. Chances of survival of larvae were not equal. Larval development was retarded at low temperatures. 22 deg C and shortest at 32 deg C. Regression equations provide a good estimate of the duration of the larval and pupal stages at temperatures ranging from 12-37 deg C
