The following 3 genotypes of crossbred calves, each consisting of 6 male animals of 6 to 9 months of age and approximately of the same body weight, were randomly taken for the present study. No significant effects of season and genotype were observed on TEC. The PCV increased significantly during summer when environmental temperature was high. Hb content may be used as an indicator of adaptability of the crossbreds to the topics. High Hb concentration is associated with high adaptability. The haematological indices like PCV and MCH were significantly affected by the season. However, the resistance of strongest cellwall as indicated by complete haemolysis was significantly affected during summer season
