Effect of cortisone upon the course of infection of Trypanosoma evansi in rabbits

The paroxysmal period (when the trypanosomes were present in circulation) in cortisone treated rabbit ranged from 15 to 19 days and on an average lasted for 17 days as against 3 to 15 days and 7 days respectively in non-cortisone treated rabbit
