Transformation of humus compounds in soil under different plants cultivated in monoculture and in crop rotation in the light of ten-year experiments

The qualitative and quantitative makeup of humus compounds is found to depend on the crop since it is related to postharvest organic debris. The debris determines the process of humification and the formation of humic compounds which are bound in different ways to the mineral portion of the soil. Of the species under study faba bean grown in monoculture improves the quality of soil as it increases the amount of humus and the amount of the most mobile compounds
