Slaughter value, meat and subcutaneous fat quality of lambs fattened with full ration mixtures containing ground maize and dried whole maize plants

Merino breed lambs were fed on the concentrates containing dried grasses and ground barley - group 1, dried whole maize plants and ground barley - group 2, dried grasses and ground maize - group 3 or dried whole maize plants and ground maize - group 4. In groups 2 and 4 higher slaughter values were obtained than in groups 1 and 3. The meat protein content was the highest in lambs of group 4. No differences were found in meat and subcutaneus fat qualities and its fatty acid composition
