Influence of S, Zn, Mn and Mo [sulphur, zinc, managanese and molybdenum] application on the growth and yield, and their concentration in rice plant in grey floodplain soil
1985
Ahmed, S. (Institute of Nuclear Agriculture, Mymensingh (Bangladesh))
A green house study was conducted to observe the effect of applying S, Zn, Mn, and Mo either singly or in combination on the growth and yield, and their concentration in rice plant on a sandy loam soil (Eutric Fluvisol) of the Institute of Nuclear Agricultural Farm, Mymensingh. Application of S, Zn and Mn either singly or in combination exerted favourable influence on the growth and yield of rice. Addition of S reduced Zn and Mo concentration considerably. Significant reduction in Zn content was found by single applications of Mn and Mo. Application of Mo decreased S content in the plant tissue
