Contribution to the study of Wurttemberg sheep fleece weight and wool fineness

Fleece weight of the Wirtembersh sheep raised on the slopes of Sara mountain (SFRY) is 3.023 kg for female and 4.0 kg for male. Fleece lock length is 8.96 cm in ewes and 9.13 cm in rams. Fleece fineness is 25.3 microns in ewes and 25.82 microns in rams. Thread hight is 8.59 cm in ewes and 8.86 cm in rams. In ewes the highest percentage of analysed threads belong to B grade (25.87%) followed by C, 3A, A, 2A, 4A and D. In rams the largest number of threads also belong to B grade (30.94%), followed by C, A, 2A, 3A, 4A, D, 5A and E.
