Conception of sows of Swedish Landrace breed depends on the boar breed. Conception of sows of all groups declines during summer months. Its drop is more evident in a group of sows inseminated by the sperm of "Durok" boars (32, 42-42, 50) compared to those inseminated by the sperm from boars of Big Yorkshire and Swedish Landrace breed. (52, 38% - 61.72%). During the entire year the largest number of live born piglets had sows inseminated by a sperm from Big Yorkshire boar (9.95). Number of still born piglets fluctuates and is greater in a pig group inseminated by a sperm from boars of Swedish Landrace and Big Yorkshire breed.
