In a factorial experiment arranged in a Randomized blocks design, the influence of manuring to tomatoes cv Dombito grown in growth bags under plastic was studied for two successive years. Three levels of N, 50, 200 and 350 ppm, into irrigation water with the same levels of K in all possible combinations were tested. The rest nutrient elements were uniformly applied according to Hoagland solutions in all treatments via irrigation system. The data obtained indicate that N significantly yield up to the level of 200 ppm in the irrigation water. There was no significant difference as regard yield between the levels of 200 and 350 ppm. On the contrary, yield was not affected by K at any level probably due to the high K content of the substrate. Increased N up to 200 ppm inc1135reased the number of fruits but had no effect on their mean weight. Nitrogen and Potassium had a significant effect on the distribution of the yield during the crop season. The fluctuation of the yield during the whole crop season was higher in the case of N than in the case of K. A decrease of the yield which was noted during March - April, in both years, was probably due to the influence of low winter temperat
