The data of six three way cross hybrids were analysed according to "Nested". Significant differences among hybrids were observed for mid-silking, plant height, ear height, number of rows/ear and ear length. No maternal effect was observed on all characters. Inbred line CO125 combinations gave a greater plant and ear height and number of rows/ear. Heritability estimation for the studied characters were: for plant height 70%, ear height 55%, date of-silking 37%, date of mid-tasseling 0%, number of rows/ear 87% and ear length 9%. The results obtained suggested that successful improvement through mass selection could be achieved for plant height, ear height and number of rows/ear. The inbred line CO125 could be used as a tester as it showed to be a good combiner for plant and ear height and number of rows/ear
