A long-lasting drought the vegetative season of 1982, first of all, in the north-western and western Poland caused an increase in the occurrence of pea aphid on pea and field pea and that of the bean aphid on field bean and broad bean. The remaining species discussed in the present paper occurred at a larger intensity only locally
