[Influence of water access restriction on water intake in chickens]

Two days old chicks were allowed to drink water for 15 minutes 3 (group 1) or 6 (group 2) times a day. Water intake decreased by 16 percent in group 1 and by 5 percent in group 2 after 4 weeks of experiment. The decrease by 10-13 percent of body slaughter weight in broiler chickens with watering restriction was stated
