New breeding technique combining rape anther culture with erucic acid analysis II. The change of erucic acid in the pollen-derived embryoid of Brassica juncea

The experimental results on the erucic acid(EA) content in the pollen-derived embryoid of Brassica juncea on a vast scale of population. At the same time, a comparison of EA content is made between the pollen-derived embryoid and the seed. The result shows that the EA content ranges from 30% to 52% in 91 embryoids and from 28% to 56% in 68 seeds. This is mianly because of the diversities of their genotype in secondary embryoids derived from the primary pollen embryoid
