The present work was carried out in Experimental Farm of Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University; aiming to study the effect of different growth regulator groups; i.e. CCC as the growth retardants, Kinetin as Cytokinins and NAA as Auxin group, on the population density of insects attacking potato plants. The plants were monthly sprayed with different concentrations. The population density of insects were decreased depending on the growth regulator used and its concentration. The anatomical features of the leaves were also modified to be harder to be attacked.
