On tomatoes, significant positive correlations were found between the following pairs of characters. 1- Fruit T.S.S. content VS vitamin C content and fruit acidity. 2- Fruit weight VS fruit size. 3- Total yield VS earily yield. 4- Seeds oil percentage VS vitamin C content in fruits, VS early yield and VS seed crude fibre. However, a significant negative correlations were found between the following pairs of characters. 1- Seeds oil percentage VS T.S.S. 2- Total VS T.S.S. and ash content of seeds. 3- Vitamin C content VS pH and VS acidity percentage. 4- Acidity percentage VS ash content of seeds. No other significant correlations were found between pairs of the other characters studied.
