1982
Dahshan, D.I. (Suez-Canal Univ., Ismaileyah (Egypt). Faculty of Agriculture)
The effect on tree and soil differ according to the ratio between the number of irrigations with drainage water and the number of irrigations with "River Nile" water. One irrigation with drainage water every one to two irrigations with "River Nile" water may be recommended without harmful effect on growth, leaf mineral content, productivity and fruit quality of the tree as well as the chemical properties of soil. Conversely, two drainage irrigations alternative with one "River Nile" irrigation proved to be hazard for tree and soil.
