Canning cucumber hybrids the parthenocarp Linda, and having predominantly female flowers Laura and Reka have been studied in trial-growings parallel with foreign hybrids. New hybrids proved to be marketable as compared to the best foreign cucumber varieties relating to resistance, productivity and quality. But in the last third of vegetation period the new hybrids have greater demand on nutrients than foreign ones and the realized yield is influenced by this
