This experiment was carried out to develop agriculture antibiotics against the rice bacterial leaf blight, Xanthomonas campestris pv. oryzae. Streptomyces spp., 2050 strains, were isolated from 485 soil samples and screened for antibacterial activity in vitro, in vivo and in field. A lot of strains formed the inhibitory zone in vitro, 0-3mm, against this gram-negative bacteria and the 20 strains formed large inhibitory zone, 26-30mm. Also, the effect of isolates selected in vitro for controlling by the bacterial disease was evaluated in green house and field. 13 strains which were recorded with high control efficacy was selected in green house. Especially, streptomyces 74-4 strain of three strains (Streptomyces 74-4, 33-8, 27-2 strain) except for strina appearing phytotoxicity on the rice showed 13.6 % diseased rate in field as compared to sankel (22.2 %). As a result, Streptomyces 74-4 strain showed high control effect, 56 %. Culture time of Streptomyces 74-4 strain which was 3 days during fermentor culture (B. Braun, Biostate) and activity of culture solution which was diluted till 5 times has shown 59.6 % control effect in pot test
