Detailed analysis of micro meteorological environment could give an important information to control and to monitor outbreak of plant disease. The primary micro meteorological factors related to outbreak of rice include temperature, humidity, rainfall, sunshine hour, and leaf wetness hour. At Ichon experimental field it had higher temperature and lower humidity, but rainfall within a limited period was more than at Suwon so that rice blast susceptibility of rice plants at Ichon district was lower than at Suwon by the synoptic meteorological elements such as air temperature, himidity, rain fall, during 1988 crop season. However, rice blast in normal year was more severe at Ichon and number of blast fungus conidia was more at Ichon than at Suwon. Based on the meteorological data analysis, it was revealed that proper time for leaf blast infection was between late of June to middle of July, but leaf blast outbreak was suppressed by lower temperature or higher temperature before middle of June and after late of July, respectively. There was a difference for leaf wetness hour obtained by synoptic meteorological data and micro meteorological data from field. The difference became greater when the meteorological observatory was far from field
