Induction of useful mutations in peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.)

Pre- and post-irradiation treatments, close M1 planting, continuous selections, and high infection pressure were employed. The mutations obtained were low growth habit, early flowering, long pod, large pod, big seed, white testa and resistance to the leafspot disease.
