Greenhouse experiment were conducted on 5 different soils in the Philippines: Pangil, Laguna; Cavinti, Laguna: Balza, Malinao, Albay; San Manuel, Tarlac; and Maligaya, Nueva Ecija, under 2 moisture regimes with 3 fertilizer rates (0-0, 20-40, 40-80 P-K, respectively). Potassium concentration for both flooded and field cap was the same after 14 days. Potassium content increased according to the rate of fertilizer applied. Potassium fixation took place for both flooded and field capacity conditions. Phosphorus concentration in field cap is higher as compared to flooded condition during the first 2 weeks.
