Influence of hay yield of each cut on seasonal K coefficient values for calculation of actual evapotranspiration of meadows

The results of lysimeter measurements made in the years 1981-84 are presented in the paper. Lysimetric stations were situated in some regions in Poland on sites of different soil-water characteristics. It has been proved that the actual evapotranspiration of meadows ETR can be calculated by means of the formula: ETr = K.ETp, where: K - seasonal coefficient, ETp - climatix index of evapotranspiration. The Penman formula proved to be the most useful for Polish climatic conditions. The coefficient K under conditions of sufficient soil water supplies or irrigated fields depends on hay yield of each cut
