Estimation of health state of sheep on the basis of hematologic and biochemical indices of blood in different maintenance periods

The ewes lambed in April were fed farm fodders in the sheepyard or were maintained on pasture. Biochemical investigations of blood composition comprised the total protein level and the Na, K, Ca, inorganic P, Cu and Zn content. The health state of experimental sheep was estimated on the basis of the clinical state and feeding system. In the second month on the pasture a growth of hematology indices and stabilization of electrolytes in the blood serum were observed
