Efficacy of systemic fungicide m-dKP (Foli-R-Fos 400) on Phytophthora palmivora causing stem rot of durian

An attempt to verify the effectiveness of new systemic fungicide, Foli-R-Fos 400, against root and stem rot of Durian tree (Phytophthora palmivora) was conducted. Various concentrations of chemical were tested via poisoned food technique to provide DR curves, ED 50 and slope values. Three isolates of P. palmivora were involved. Experimental result indicated that the fungitoxic of Foli-R-Fos 400 was similar to that of Ridomil. This finding also provides the new dimension of curing and protecting durian tree from Phytophthora disease for the orchard owners.
