1986

The results revealed that peak and recession flow (m3/km2) decreased as a result of deforestation subwatershed: Mae Taeng, Mae Ngat, Mae Rim, Mae Kuang, Mae Khan, Mae Klang, Mae Chaem, Mae Li, Mae Ping (observed at Nawarat Bridge), Mae Ping (observed at Ban Thasala), Mae Ping (observed at Ban Konghin). Such peak and recession flow increased at Chiang Doa subwatershed. The regression equation indicated that the annual specific yield (m3/km2) decreased as a result of deforestation at subwatershed : Mae Taeng, Chiang Doa, Mae Rim, Mae Kuang, Mae Khan, Mae Klang, Mae Chaem, Mae Li, Mae Ping. An exception was true at Mae Ngat subwatershed where annual specific yield increased. The regression equation also indicated that the wet season specific yield decreased as a result of deforestation at twelve selected subwatersheds as well as the dry season which specific yield decreased with increasing degree of deforestation at subwatershed: Mae Chaem, Mae Li, Mae Ping (observed at Nawarat Bridge, Ban Thasala and Ban Konghin). An inverted result was found at Chiang Doa subwatershed.
