This is a study of the effect of various concentrations of potassium chloride on calcium absorption in some sections of the complex stomach of cattle. The radioisotopic method was used to observe the progress of absorption. There was no significant difference in the intensity of calcium absorption with regard to the presence of low and high potassium concentrations in the content and therefore, it was concluded that potassium ions do not directly affect the speed of calcium absorption.
