The most suitable types of machines and the time of soil pooling in green-houses, during tomato growth, have been established by means of experiments. The following elements have been taken into consideration: working speed of assembly, working area (deformed soil mass profile width), working depth, tractor assembly productivity, working hours spent, degree of soil shredding, deformed soil profile mass area, degree of kibbling of the structural assembly, hard soil resistance, effect of pooling or time of pooling on physical changes in the soil (mechanical structure, porosity, water absorption, impound water capacity), percentage of plant wilting and production quality.
