The effect of age of bearing wood on the fruit quality in apple cv. Melrose

This paper presents the results of the investigation into mass of fruits, number of healthy seeds, dry matter, total acid, total sugars and reducing sugars in the function of age of bearing tree and present types of bearing branches in apple cv. Melrose. In the period when the stated parameters were investigated, the trees were 22 years old.
